Free franked mailing envelope, 6.75 x 4.5, addressed in type to "Honorable and Mrs. Spiro T. Agnew, The Executive Office Building, Washington, D.C. 20501," and franked in the upper right in ballpoint, "Harry S. Truman." Postmarked at Independence, Missouri, on January 7, 1970. In fine condition. While pre-printed Truman free franks exist by the thousands, very few authentically signed examples are known. The fine association of this example—a past vice president addressing the sitting one—makes it that much more desirable.
