ALS signed “A. C. Swinburne,” one page, 4.5 x 7, The Pines letterhead, February 12, 1880. Handwritten letter to a gentleman, in part: "I hasten to comply with the request conveyed in your note of presumably recent (not specified) date, which has this morning come to hand." Professionally inlaid into a larger sheet and in fine condition, with a few light stains. Accompanied by an engraved portrait bearing a facsimile signature.
