Composer (1887-1979) who studied at the Paris Conservatoire from 1897 to 1904, where she won several prizes. She went on to write many vocal and instrumental works, winning second prize at the Grand Prix de Rome in 1908 for her cantata, La Sirène (The Siren). After 1918 she devoted herself to teaching, first at home, and later at the Conservatoire and the Ecole Normale de Musique, where she had international influence. In fine condition, with writing showing through from opposing sides. Accompanied by the original hand-addressed mailing envelope.
