Second President of Egypt (born 1918) from 1956 until his death in 1970. Along with Muhammad Naguib, he led the Egyptian Revolution of 1952, which removed King Farouk I and heralded a new period of industrialization in Egypt. Vintage matte-finish 6.75 x 9 photo of Nasser in uniform, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To Ada, with the best wishes of Gamal Abdel Nasser." Affixed to a slightly larger mount and in very good to fine condition, with a vertical crease that extends from the bottom edge into his Nasser's name.
