Notations on the reverse denote Henry Cromwell was the recipient. In fine condition, with light foxing and toning. The 2nd Earl of Warwick's grandson, also named Robert, married Frances Cromwell, daughter of the Lord Protector Oliver Cromwell, in 1657, but died of consumption within three months of the marriage on February 16, 1658.
