Irish poet and nationalist activist (1821-1896) who wrote under the pen name 'Speranza' and was the mother of Oscar Wilde. ALS signed “Francesca Speranza Wilde,” one page, 4.5 x 7, no date. Short handwritten letter sending an invitation "to join my causerie tomorrow from 5 to 7." In fine condition, with a rusty circular paperclip impression to the top.
