Full free frank, measuring 12.5 x 7.75 unfolded with a central panel of 5.25 x 3.25, addressed by Jackson to "Col. Francis Preston, Abington, Virginia," and franked in the lower left, "Mr. A. Jackson jn'r." In very good to fine condition, with light staining to the lower left, and along the vertical fold. An unusual and early form of Jackson's autograph—adding the "jn'r" suffix —addressed to a noteworthy Virginia politician.
