Vintage glossy 7.5 x 9.5 Radio Pictures publicity photo of Maria Ouspenskaya as the Amazon Queen for the 1945 adventure film Tarzan and the Amazons, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To Charles K. Stumpf, Maria Ouspenskaya.” In very good condition, with trimmed edges, surface impressions, overall creasing (including a vertical crease passing through her right temple), and two small holes to the left edge.
Noted collector Charles Stumpf was an actor, author, and historian who penned books on Zasu Pitts, Fibber McGee and Molly, Walter Tetley, and old time radio. He acted in many regional productions during his life, and was a member of several fan clubs and appreciation societies.
