Scarce greeting card from the ‘Office of the President,’ measures 8 x 8.25 open, signed inside in black ink as president of the Republic of South Africa, “N. Mandela.” Above the autograph is gilt text in English and Afrikaans, which reads: “The way to peace and prosperity for 1995; and many years thereafter, is through reconciliation and nation building.” The card also bears a blue facsimile signature. In very fine condition.
