Coolidge stops for a treat on his way out of the White House

Personal check, 8.5 x 3, filled out in another hand and signed by Coolidge as president, "Calvin Coolidge," payable to Chestnut Farms Dairy for $39, March 1, 1929. In fine condition. Coolidge would leave office three days later upon the inauguration of Herbert Hoover. Chestnut Farms Dairy, started by George Oyster Jr., is credited with introducing whipped cream to Washington, D.C.
