(Walt Disney Studios, 1940) Original production cel featuring a pink Pegasus from the 'Pastoral Symphony' segment of Fantasia, set to Beethoven's Symphony No. 6, in which the Greek mythological creatures gather for a festival to honor Bacchus, the god of agriculture and wine. The cel has been trimmed and applied to an airbrushed background as prepared by Courvoisier Galleries for sale. Image measures 3.25 x 2, with overall dimensions of 6.75 x 6. Marked "WDP" [Walt Disney Productions] in the lower right corner of the background, and bears a stamped Walt Disney Productions copyright notice on the reverse. In fine condition, dried adhesive remnants to the background (where the cel was once affixed).
