Dolly ‘Dolletta’ Dodd Boykin (1881-1948), who, at 28 inches tall, was known as the ‘world’s smallest mother.’ She and her two average-sized children traveled together as an enormously popular sideshow attraction and were featured in Robert Ripley’s Believe it or Not?! comic strip. Rare vintage matte-finish 3.5 x 5.5 postcard photo of Dolletta posing with her family, signed on the reverse in purple ink, "Dolletta, world's smallest mother and my 2 caesarian children, Lucia E. Boykin, 17 years, Charles T. Boykin, 11 yrs." In fine condition.
