French photographer (1832-1909) who opened his own studio in 1858 and was the official photographer of the 1867 Exposition Universelle. He was also the first to attempt underwater photography, in 1898. ALS in French, one page, 5.25 x 8.5, illustrated Pierre Petit & Fils Photographie et Linographie letterhead, July 9, 1903. An untranslated handwritten letter to "Cher Monsieur Molard." In fine condition, with two file holes to the left edge.
