Description

Eminent British evolutionary biologist (1887-1975) and brother of writer Aldous Huxley. ALS signed “Julian S. Huxley,” one page both sides, 6 x 8.75, November 18, 1954. Handwritten letter to Mr. Wakefield of the American Humanist Association, in part: "I am so glad that you felt my lecture was valuable…your organizational efforts on behalf of the A.H.A. must have appreciably helped toward the success of the evening at the Ethical Culture Building. I leave today for 7 more lectures (!) and when I get back to New York shall only have a very brief & very full time before sailing." In fine condition.
