ALS signed “Jim Irwin, Apollo 15,” one page, 8.5 x 11, High Flight letterhead, May 2, 1973. Handwritten letter to an admirer, in part: "I want to thank you for your art work and the humor that you expressed so well. We had some of the very same ideas on our flight. Our entire family appreciated your creations. It was suggested that you create a book of space cartoons because you do have talent." In fine condition, with speckled small stains to the edges.
