German World War I military hero (1847-1934) and president of Germany from 1925 to 1934. Three items signed by Paul von Hindeburg, including: two DSs signed "von Hindenburg," each one page, 8 x 13, dated 1898 and 1899; and a postcard portrait by Hugo Vogel, boldly signed and inscribed on the reverse by Hindenburg and dated 1915. In fine condition. Accompanied by a handwritten postcard by his wife, Gertrud von Hindenburg.
