Duke, Jr., LMP, April 20, 1972, Descartes Highlands," and "Gene Cernan, CDR—Apollo XVII, Dec. 1972, Valley of Taurus Littrow." In very fine condition. Speaking to Congress and the nation at the joint session of Congress on May 25, 1961, President Kennedy famously said: 'I believe that this Nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to Earth.'
