Two items: a first edition of Deliverance, hardcover with dust jacket, published by Houghton Mifflin Company in 1970, signed and inscribed on the title page, "To Matthew Stiller—these rivers and arrows—from, James Dickey"; and a glossy 9.5 x 8 Warner Bros. publicity photo of Dickey as a county sheriff in the Oscar-nominated 1972 film Deliverance—for which Dickey also wrote the screenplay—signed and inscribed in black ink, "To Matt Stiller, from, James Dickey." In overall fine condition, with some wear along the spine and edges of dust jacket, which also bears some scraping and rubbing to the back.
