American jazz tenor saxophonist (1923-1990) whose career spanned over forty years. ALS signed “Copenhagen Slim,” one page on a 6.5 x 4.75 postcard advertising his shows at the Gyllene Cirkeln in Stockholm, March 20, 1963. Handwritten letter to his agent, Bob Leonard, in full: "Greetings & salutations from your boss client. Been reading good things about your activities. How about me? Will you send me a few B.M.I. blanks for new tunes? I forgot mine. Love and kisses to all. I'm doing T.B., Radio etc. etc. Doin' alright." In fine condition, with some minor dampstaining affecting text. Accompanied by an original vintage glossy 8 x 10 Blue Note publicity photo of Gordon.
