German physician best known for creating a system of alternative medicine called homeopathy (1755-1843). Rare ALS in French, signed “S. Hahnemann,” one page, 3.75 x 6, January 3, 1842. Handwritten prescription to a lady, in part (translated): "I ask you to have the child that is ill breathe the small bottle at the right time just a little and to observe his reaction as you use to do so carefully. If you have to make the child breathe another day the same small bottle please do not forget to shake it five or six times before the respiration...P.S. Your servant will bring me back the small bottle (ant.CR.)" In fine condition. Rare and important medical instructions from the creator of homeopathy.
