Legal document commanding the sheriff of Bristol County, Massachusetts, to "Attach the Goods or Estate Benjamin Benjamin Chase of Taunton in the same County Yeoman, to the Value of Thirty Pounds, and for want thereof to take the Body of the said Robert…and him safely keep, so that you have him before Our Justices of Our Inferiour Court of Common Pleas…to answer unto Ebenezer Hathaway junior." Endorsed on the reverse by Paine as an attorney in the case. In very good condition, with toning along split folds, losses to left edge affecting text, and old mounting remnants to the edges.
