King William IV commands the Duke of Norfolk to attend his coronation

LS signed “William R,” one page, 7.75 x 12.5, August 1831. Official letter to Bernard Edward, Duke of Norfolk, Earl Marshal and Hereditary Marshal of England, in part: "Whereas the Eighth day of September next is appointed for the Royal Solemnity of Our and the Queen's Coronation, These are to will and require you (all excuses set apart) to make your personal attendance on Us at the time abovementioned furnished and appointed as to your Rank and Quality appertaineth there to do and perform all such services as shall be required and belong unto you whereof you are not to fail." In fine condition.
