Vintage matte-finish 6 x 8.75 photo of the composer, affixed to a 10.5 x 13.25 mount, signed on the mount in fountain pen with a three-bar musical quotation from 'Der Rosenkavalier,' inscribed below in German and signed, "D. Richard Strauss, Dresden 23.3.27." Also signed in pencil below the image by the photographer, Ursula Richter. In very good to fine condition, with silvering to the photo, and light toning to the mount from prior display.
