Vintage ballpoint signatures of Davie Bowie and the Spiders from Mars— "From a 'Cosmic Yob,' Love, David Bowie,” “Love, Mick Ronson, xxxx,” “Love, Woody, xx,” and “Trevor Bolder”—on an off-white 5 x 8 notebook page, the reverse of which bears a handwritten fan poem about Bowie, which refers to him as “a Cosmic Yob.” The fan sent the poem to Minnie Ronson, the mother of guitarist Mick Ronson, who forwarded the poem for the band to read and sign; Minnie then mailed the poem back to the fan with a handwritten letter, in part: “Bowie thought this was fab (your poem) as you see he has signed from a Cosmic Yob.” Minnie’s letter and her mailing envelope are included with the lot. In very good to fine condition, with light creasing and intersecting folds. Accompanied by certificates of authenticity from Tracks, REAL, and Rockaway Records.
