LS signed "Danl. Webster," one page, 7.75 x 9.75, October 27, 1924. Webster writes from Boston to the Phi Gamma Alpha Society of Hamilton College. In part: "I accept with pleasure the honour conferred upon me by the society which you represent. The objects of your association are such as meet my entire approbation. You cannot better promote, either your own happiness, or that of your country, than by endeavoring to diffuse sound morality & useful information throughout its whole extent. That your efforts for this purpose may be abundantly successful is my earnest hope." In very good to fine condition, with a trimmed bottom edge, and two old pieces of tape on the back of split folds.
