Handwritten lyrics for the song ‘R.A.M.O.N.E.S.’ by Motorhead, penned in black felt tip by an unknown hand (presumably by roadie Mitch 'Bubbles' Keller) on the reverse of an Adios Amigos ‘Farewell Tour’ poster, 11 x 17, for a Ramones concert at The Palestra, University of Rochester, Rochester, New York on April 27, 1996. The lyrics, in full: “New York City N-Y-C, Pretty mean when it wants to be / Black leather knee hole pants, Can't play no high school dance / Fuzz tone hear 'em go, hear 'em on the radio / Misfit twilight zone, R-A-M-O-N-E-S, R-A-M-O-N-E-S, RAMONES / Bad boy rock bad boy roll, Gabba gabba see them go / CJ now hit the gas, Hear Marky kick some ass / Go Johnny go go go!, Go Tommy o-way-o / Misfit twilight zone, R-A-M-O-N-E-S, R-A-M-O-N-E-S, RAMONES / Bad boy then bad boy now, Good buddies mau mau / Keep it up rock and roll, good music save your soul / Dee Dee he left home, Joey called me on the phone / R-A-M-O-N-E-S, R-A-M-O-N-E-S, RAMONES.” Two original ‘inside joke’ song titles have been taped over and changed. In fine condition, with a central horizontal fold. The consignor notes that these lyrics were written out for Joey Ramone to sing at an 'All Star Bash' party.
