TLS as president signed “D.E.,” one page, 7 x 10.25, White House letterhead, August 23, 1955. Letter to his brother, Edgar N. Eisenhower, in full: "On June sixteenth I sent you a note telling you of the arrival of the Alaska King Crabs. A copy is enclosed. The material from the American Bar Association didn’t reach my desk until last Friday. I haven’t had a minute to acknowledge its arrival until today. P.S. I do not quite understand the last paragraph of your second letter of July 29th. If I assure the Leaders of the Senate and House that I am not going to oppose a particular proposal, I am sure they will not be too much worried by what Mr. Phleger will say." In fine condition. Accompanied by a carbon copy of Edgar's letter to Ike, asking if he got the King Crabs and material on John Marshall assembled by the American Bar Association.
