Letter the Hon. Robert Carter, in full: "Inclosed you will receive sundry resolutions entered into by us at this present meeting. We wish you could make it convenient to attend our next meeting on the 25th of June or if you cannot attend that you will give a power of attorney to some person to act on your behalf as matters of great importance to the co-partnership are to be determined on at the said meeting." Signed at the conclusion by Charles Carroll of Carrollton, Nicholas Carroll, Daniel of St. Thomas Jenifer (Signer of the Constitution for Maryland), W. Smith, and Abraham Van Bibber. Inlaid into a slightly larger sheet and in fine condition, with a small area clipped from the integral address leaf.
