Description

Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 17.5 x 13.5, March 3, 1923. President Harding appoints Walter W. Crick as "Postmaster at Madisonville, in the County of Hopkins, State of Kentucky." Signed at the conclusion by Warren G. Harding, and countersigned by Postmaster General Harry S. New. Lower left corner is embossed with the Post Office Department seal. Archivally framed to an overall size of 21.75 x 17.75. In very good to fine condition, with overall toning, and staining to the left side and to the lower right corner, not affecting the signature.
