Description

Partly-printed vellum DS, signed “Tho. M:Kean,” one page, 21 x 11.25, March 12, 1800. As governor of Pennsylvania, McKean grants "a certain tract of land, called 'Troy'…containing Three hundred seventy acres." Boldly signed in the upper left corner by Thomas McKean, and countersigned at the conclusion by James Trimble as deputy secretary. White paper star seal remains affixed to the upper left corner. Archivally mounted and framed to an overall size of 27.5 x 18. In fine condition, with an area of staining under the signature.
