Handwritten letter to a friend named "Henry," in part: "Carrying the samples of your wool in my packet for examination, I have just shown them to [Quier] who says of himself that he is a pretty good judge—his opinion is that tho he has seen finer, the wool is of an exceeding good quality." Archivally mounted, matted, and framed to an overall size of 14.5 x 11.75. In fine condition, with an area of repaired paper loss to the upper right corner.
