Partly-printed vellum DS as president, one page, 12.25 x 8.25, February 20, 1817. President Madison grants William Fegley of Beaver County, Pennsylvania, a parcel of "the Lands directed to be sold at Wooster." Crisply signed at the conclusion by President Madison and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office Josiah Meigs. The white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains intact. Mounted, matted, and framed to an overall size of 19.25 x 15.25. In very good to fine condition, with scattered light soiling and staining.
