"We are going to have all sorts of difficulties to overcome during this session of the Congress"

TLS as president signed “Harry,” one page, 6.5 x 8.5, White House letterhead, January 19, 1948. Letter to David H. Morgan, in part: "I certainly appreciated your letter of the fifth and you can rest assured that we are going to have all sorts of difficulties to overcome during this session of the Congress, but I believe we have that situation pretty well in hand." Nicely double-matted and framed with a portrait to an overall size of 17.5 x 14.25; the original mailing envelope is displayed in a window on the reverse. In fine condition.
