Surgeon at Parkland Hospital who attended to President Kennedy after he was shot on November 22, 1963. Original felt tip sketch of "President Kennedy's Wounds as I saw them" on a white 5.75 x 4 sheet, signed "by R. McClelland, M.D., June 26, 2018." The sketch shows President Kennedy's head in profile, with the entry and exit wounds labeled on the head and neck. In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope.
This version of McClelland's sketch has two entrance wounds to the front: a "5 mm" wound at the hair line, and then another “5 mm” wound to lower neck. The back features another “5mm” wound, and the back of the head shows the large “12 cm exit wound." McClelland has always maintained that the mortal wound—the head wound—came from the front, likely fired from the 'Grassy Knoll' ahead of Kennedy's motorcade; he maintains that there were at least two shooters and that the assassination was likely a conspiracy involving government elements.
