Description

TLS as first lady, one page, 6.25 x 9.25, White House letterhead, October 15, 1934. Letter to Millicent Hearst, the wife of media tycoon William Randolph Hearst, in full: "Many, many thanks to you for your very sweet message and for your good wishes. I appreciate your thought of me more than I can tell you." In fine condition, with a rusty paperclip impression to the top edge. Accompanied by the original White House mailing envelope.
