Nineteenth-century firearms manufacturer and son of the designer of the original Remington rifle (1793-1861). Cashier of Ilion Bank check, 7.25 x 2.75, filled out and signed by Remington, "E. Remington & Sons," payable to M. Mahon for $17.75, December 9, 1853. In fine condition. Encapsulated in a PSA/DNA authentication holder, grading the autograph as "NM-MT 8."
