Dictionary writer and son of novelist Charles Dickens, who took over for him as editor of the magazine All the Year Round (1837-1896). ALS signed “Charles Dickens,” one page, 4.25 x 7, All the Year Round letterhead, October 27, 1875. Letter to writer George Manville Fenn, saying that he will look after a gentleman's interests and pondering whether he is a relative of classmates "who were at Eton with me." In fine condition, with a couple of small stains.
