TLS in French, one page, 8.5 x 11, May 8, 1948. Letter to a writer, in part (translated): "I thank you very much for your letter and for the Museum Bulletin with your article on me. I am happy that you are sympathetic to my art, because in spite of having worked for forty years, doubt always pursues me and for each good word I am grateful and astonished. I remember very well your care for me during my exhibit at the Museum and the honor that the Museum paid me. I send heartfelt greetings to you all. I hope to terminate my affairs here soon and to return to France." In fine condition.
