Striking vintage 3.5 x 5.5 real photo postcard of Baker in an elaborate and revealing feathered costume, signed at the bottom of the image in fountain pen, "Souvenir, Josephine Baker, Marseille, 1936." In very good to fine condition, with some creasing, silvering, and an edge stain to the photo. Accompanied by three publications associated with Baker's career: an original 1927 Folies Bergère program, depicting Baker inside; an original 1937 Folies Bergère program, depicting a painting of Baker through a window in the front cover; and Josephine Baker and La Revue Negre: Paul Colin's Lithographs of Le Tumulte Noir in Paris, 1927, published by Harry N. Abrams in 1998.
