ALS signed “Joe Willie Namath,” one page, 8.5 x 11, University of Alabama letterhead, no date but circa early 1960s. Letter to an autograph seeker, in full: "Dear ?, I'm sorry I had to sign the card enclosed without putting your name on it; however I couldn't make out the correct spelling of your name which was on the envelope and on your letter." In very good to fine condition, with intersecting folds and light creasing. Namath quarterbacked the Alabama Crimson Tide from 1962 to 1964, leading them to a national championship in his senior year.
