German composer and conductor (1869-1930) who was the son of Richard Wagner; he served as the opera composer and artistic director of the Bayreuth Festival from 1908 to 1930. Distinguished matte-finish 6.5 x 8.25 portrait of Wagner in formal attire, affixed to its original 9.5 x 12 mount, lengthily signed and inscribed on the mount in fountain pen in German, and dated at New York, 1924. In very good to fine condition, with trimmed top and bottom edges, and a small stain to the top edge of the photo.
