Original hand-inked three panel Mickey and Minnie Mouse daily comic strip drawn by Walt Disney artists for November 7, 1980. The comic strip, 19.5 x 5.5, accomplished in ink with instances of affixed cellophane, begins with Minnie presenting Mickey with a new winter present: “Uh…thanks for knitting this scarf for me, Minnie!” When Minnie leaves for the day, she says, “I hope you’ll be able to use it!,” to which Mickey replies, “Oh, I will!” The final scene shows Mickey sound asleep in the backyard, the oversized scarf being used as a hammock. The last panel is marked “11-7,” a King Features Syndicate label is affixed to the first panel, and a “1980 Walt Disney Productions” copyright notice is affixed to the second panel. Matted and framed to an overall size of 23.25 x 10.25. In fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Disneyana.
