Two vintage original glossy 12 x 10.25 contact sheets containing a total of 74 different images of the Beatles recording tracks for the 1964 album A Hard Day’s Night at EMI Studios on Abbey Road in London, on June 1 and 3, 1964; a number of the images also show manager Brian Epstein and producer George Martin. The photographs were taken by Robert Freeman, who was commissioned by the publisher and owner of ‘Souvenir Press,’ Ernest Hecht, to photograph the Beatles for inclusion into Brian Epstein’s autobiography A Cellarful of Noise.
