Appetite for Destruction first pressing promotional album by Guns N' Roses, signed on the back cover in multi-colored paint pen by all five original band members: Axl Rose, Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagan, and Steven Adler. This first pressing of Appetite for Destruction features the uncensored Robert Williams cover with first issue oval ‘language warning’ sticker and gold ‘promo use-only’ embossed print. In fine condition. The record and the original cross logo promo sticker are included. Accompanied by full letters of authenticity from REAL and Walls of Sound, with the latter stating that the signatures were obtained on September 12, 1987, following a concert at the Palmer Auditorium in Austin, Texas—this would be the only tour in which the original lineup of Rose, Slash, Stradlin, Duff, and Adler performed together, aside from four shows at the L. A. Coliseum opening for the Rolling Stones in October 1989. As such, period-signed examples with the classic lineup and dating from the album’s 1987 release—especially a first issue demo copy of the controversial cover—are virtually nonexistent.
