Delibes pens 24 bars from 'L'Air des clochettes' (The Bell Song) the most famous aria from his 1883 opera Lakmé. An identification notation is penned in the upper right in the hand of his wife. In very good to fine condition, with scattered creasing, and intersecting folds. A precious musical manuscript, comprising the most famous part from his most famous work.
