(Walt Disney Studios, 1953) Delightful original color model production cel of Tinker Bell from Peter Pan, which shows the lovely little sprite of Neverland in a full-length pose standing on the top of a cork. The cel has been trimmed to form and placed on a hand-painted production background from the same film. Image measures 3.25 x 5.5, with a mat opening of 9.25 x 9.75. Double-matted to an overall size of 15.75 x 19.75. In fine condition. This spectacular set-up was originally assembled by members of the Disney art department the very year the film was released; a full figure pose—with the desirable presence of wings—coupled with the matching hand-painted background truly makes this a must-have Tinker Bell treasure.
