Description

(Walt Disney Studios, 1946) Original production drawing of Willie the sperm whale from The Whale Who Wanted to Sing at the Met, the final segment of the anthology film Make Mine Music, which shows the talented cetacean wearing a cape during an operatic performance. Accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on untrimmed 15.5 x 12.5 animation paper marked "56" in the lower right corner. Image measures 9 x 8.5. In fine condition, with a small tear to lower left edge.
