French painter and etcher (1845-1902) best known for his Oriental subjects. Two items: an untranslated ALS in French, signed "Benj. Constant," one page, 4.5 x 7, Paris, May 23, 1891; and a 3.75 x 2.25 calling card imprinted with his name and the address of his studio, inscribed with a brief message in French and signed "Benj-Constant." In overall fine condition.
