Group of five original glossy wirephotos of Fidel Castro, ranging in size from 9 x 5.75 to 8 x 10, dating from 1959 to 1971. The photos show Castro speaking informally to students, giving televised addresses, climbing into his car, and drinking from a Chilean wine flask. Most bear date stamps and affixed newspaper clippings on the reverse. In overall very good condition, with moderate-to-heavy scattered creasing, a few edge tears, with various editorial marks, notations, and touch-ups.
