ANS signed “Henry,” one page, 8.5 x 8, Black Sparrow Press letterhead, July 23, 1982. Brief handwritten note penned at the bottom of a typed letter addressed to him by Black Sparrow Press publisher John Martin, in full: "Hello John—Signed and enclosed. Good old red! Yr boy, Henry." Bukowski adds a small sketch of himself with what appears to be a liquor bottle. Martin's letter reads: "Here is a little surprise for you! Maybe the idea will spread! There are 20 bumper stickers here. Keep 5 (and let me know if you'd like more). Will you sign the other 15 and return them in the enclosed envelope. Thanks!" In fine condition, with a central mailing fold.
